Hi Birchem marans lover .

here few photos of my Birchen marans. started my line with one Birchen hen and a Black copper Rooster. I m on the F3 .start to see some pure pullets and almost correct cockerels . hard to breed the Autossomal red out but I m getting there. few more year and I ll be good.

they eggs are nice 5/6 .they are heavy .
I m working to improve the silver. the length of the back. get ready of the fluff ..in the f3 progeny I achieved some of t.

for this year breeding season ( starting in a month time ) I m keeping the grand ma Scandinavia .3 F2 daughter and mothers plus 11 pullets F3 . 4 cockerels .

the birchen are gorgeous Black and silver .specially when the Silver is pure .
