Birds eyes

I have had a few birds in the past little while that all of the sudden seem lethargic whe I inspect them there eyes are swollen and if I open them there is white mucus or something covering their eyes. I'm not sure what it is bit I am researching because I have spent some serious money on my birds. If anyone hete can give me a fast track to my problem I'd love to hear it. Thanks
 
I know it's been over 4 weeks, but I would like to know how they are doing?
