Cedar Waxwing with a grape:

Just a quick update...I saw a pheasant a few days ago, while my mom and I were on a run in the vineyard across the road from our house. I've also seen plenty of non-webbed bird tracks there, probably pheasant and peacock. I don't know where the peacocks spend the winter, but it's probably down by the creek, in the trees. I saw the Varied Thrush again, too! And I got (ugly) proof of him!

We put our feeders up, and the little birds are having such fun with them. The doves like to try to get on and eat, but they usually end up falling off, since they're too big.

Looks like your Varied Thrush is a little female. Nice! Jealous.
