In the german counterpart of BYC there are meetings of chicken loversI absolutely feel the same! Byc is my happy place. Its the only platform of ‘social media’ in my life and its great! Nothing but chicken talk with what i think are some of the kindest people i have ever shared with. the threads about baking is cool too and the random personal threads are all heartfelt and everyone is so kind and forgiving and understanding. Unless of course there is an unsafe, or unhealthy environment for chickens. They will get their feathers all ruffled making sure they address and educate. And i love that. Like i said before i wish we could all get together and talk chickens all day, but BYC is the next best thing. Thank you again. Ya’ll know who u are.
I traveled to a lot of meetings, it is so nice, everybody brings foods ( lots of it) you exchange chicken stories, advice , hatching eggs, plants, and everybody gets along and you talk from dawn til after dusk ...,I also met other chicken lovers in other countries through the contact with the forum, and they also had chicken fan meetings, we usually pick a long weekend , the last 2 years there was nothing, cos of COVID-19, maybe this year in summer they will start up again
