Black Australorp.... pullets or cockerel??

That sure is disappointing; however mine both are cockerels and they are huge and crowing. I''m looking for a place that will hopefully process the just the two.

I am confused. I've never had Australorps so I didn't comment but I swear I saw pointy saddle feathers in pic 2 of OP's 1st post. Do Australorps feather differently than other breeds? Just trying to learn all I can as Australorps are next on my list. Thanks :)

That's why I rehomed them because everyone here said they had rooster feathers and they both were crowing like crazy. I was just told last night that the new home is now getting pullet eggs from them.

Thats sooo disapointing. I's there any way you could get them back? Probably not but it's worth a try.

Good luck!
I was hoping to get them back but the new home just said thanks! haha I did end up ordering new chicks and I swear the Australorp I got is looking like a rooster again but I'm definitely going to wait it out longer this time

So this is a cockerel?! The chicken is a bully and so is the other Black australorp, Neither crows but they intimidate my Easter Egger Rooster and go face to face with each other with heads down and neck feathers all out.
Yep, my Aussie did not get her red until she was well over 18 weeks old. That is a cockerel
