So I bought hatching eggs from a farm as Frizzle Easter Egger eggs, and though two of the eggs that hatched were black chicks, one of them not only had black feathers but also black legs/comb/skin (the other did not).

Can EE’s have black combs/legs/skin??

How can I tell the sex of the chick?
With the other chicks, in the last week some of the other chicks combs started to pink a bit, but with this one’s comb being black... I can’t tell. (Pics below)
It is a very bold baby. It’s always the first to check out new things and is always jumping/flying up to perch and look out over the other chicks.

(Side story, I’m working from home today and this chick flew legit 8 feet from the brooder to my work table and just looked at me like “I’m here, where are the treats, snack lady?” I was amazed at 4 weeks old it could fly clear across a room! and would be bold enough to do it!)

I have AC/EE hybrids though I don't know where the AC inserted itself. 2 of mine have the fibro gene...1 does not. If dad was AC (I know mom(s) wasn't/weren't... they hatched out of blue eggs), then for mine to be colored/patterned, dad only had 1 copy of fibro gene. Or, AC was further back and mine are f2+. I can't speak for egg laying ability since mine are so young but they are hands down my favorite birds we've ever owned. They will do everything they can to be near me and they are so sweet and docile that I hope someone has the time and expertise to make these gems their own breed. As for your little doll, I would guess s/he's most probably an AC cross EE :)
