Still holding out hope for this one. My gut says cockerel but just wanted another second opinion from someone who knows the breed a little better than myself. He/she is 7 weeks old.

This is inaccurate information to be continuously spreading. "Males will develop saddle feathers around 8-12 weeks old while hackle and sickle feathers do not make an appearance for 16-24 weeks." This information was sourced from Mt. Healthy Hatchery. Sickle feathers are what lead to differences in tails of the genders. Since sickle feathers appear so late and after so many other sex-specific traits occur, they are not useful in sexing at any age except for beginners who have trouble noticing less obvious signs. Please refrain from spreading this misinformation and confusing othersThat’s a slow maturing roo it you look at the tail feathers in the last pick those aren’t pullet feathers.
He's rooBCM with my suspected Roo barred Plymouth Rock. The combs and waddles are roughly the same size and they both developed them at the same time but the barred Roos are much redder. Not sure if that has anything to do with the breed
Tails don't mean anything at this age.
I'm on the fence. Please post updated pics in 2 weeks.
