Black Copper Marans... 1 Roo and 1 Pullet?

There are different shades of blue. I have a dark blue Orp that is really dark, but not as dark as a black.

Not saying yours is for sure a blue, but my BCM's are as black as black gets. Here's a picture:

I just looked at some Blue Copper Marans baby pics... they look really really light... a whole lot lighter than she is... hmmm... I guess time will tell

She appears to have lacing on her feathers, which would make her blue, not black

edit to say she does have lacing on her feathers, which would make her blue. These are some pics of blues I posted on a different thread. These are OEGB, but the lacing is still present. Black would be solid, no lacing
