Here is my boy at 5 1/2 months old . .. .

You roo is hold his wings like he did when he was younger. I don't know how to describe what I am thinking other than
to say that he reminds me more of a cornish rock than a marans. PLEASE, the experienced eyes. .. . tell me if I am crazy!

PS - - - The pictures are so dark, that I can not give you feedback on COLOR. ALSO, because they are dark - - - they could be destorting his actually body shape.

We usually feed 20% crumbles to all our birds, this year with our hatches we have been feeding 23% chick starter with Amprolium as we also have Turkeys again and wanted to make sure they had a good start too. Since we have been hatching eggs from our birds we want to make sure there aren't any defiencies(sp).

Is it possible that the bird is standing/posing like that or maybe he is a slower developer?

Is it possible that the bird is standing/posing like that or maybe he is a slower developer?

-He usually holds his wings properly, I had chased him around the pen.

-He is second to Fiesta, so he's low on pecking order, the girls still chase him around.

-I'll get brighter picts soon, just for color-- thanks all.

-shooting using ZOOM at a distance when he would hold still.

--its possible he was four DAYS old not WEEKS old Jan 2nd... that would make him 4 months.

He has NO saddle feathers yet and a wimpy tail, SO I'm guessing he's younger then I thought.

And his foot feathering seems to be stuck in chick size...

While you are torturing that poor boy, what color are the pads of his feet ? ?

Also, what color are his eyes ?
