Black Copper Marans - Time progression of sexing - UPDATED with WEEKs #1-3 PICTURES

Pics
The BCM has a very noticeable comb. I call roo.
The Bresse doesn't have any noticeable male features but has a 'roo' tude. The way she looks direct at the camera, stands tall and does not seem feminine. But that's just my totally newbie opinion.

I think my Daisy is a David. :( I can't keep a roo.

Sucks you can't keep a roo. The BCM boys are so gorgeous.

Yeah, I see little wattles on Daisy, for sure. :(

Good call on the attitude. Little Lulu is always strutting around with her head high, getting in your face. Hoping it's a Bresse thing, not a rooster thing.

4 weeks old today. This is Penny. Pullet is my guess. I was worried about her at one point due to the coloring but I think she is a mossy girl. And I am not breeding so I do not mind.

Those are great pictures! And yeah, Daisy is looking quite cockerely, but Penny is definitely a pullet. Hopefully Abigail too.

Two pullets out of three is not bad. I'm thinking I'm two for two on roos this time around. Here's little Patrick at 19 days, looking quite pink-combed and wattled.

And here's little Lulu, who I'm thinking is a Lucas. She's looking and acting quite roostery. The two little guys sometimes get all in each others faces and start doing a little chest bump thing. Not very girly. :(
