Black Friday Shopping 2012

The only reason I"m going is because I'm super cheap and the items that I need (towels, sheets, etc) are 2/3 off the regular price. Other than that, I would be at home in my PJs'. I'm not a gift giver and I tell people not to buy me anything. I don't want anyone wasting their money on gifts.

My towels are just a few strands of thread with holes in them and we won't even talk about my sheets. :oops: My towels look more like cleaning rags. :gig So, I'm hoping to get some towels that will last me about 5 years because that is about how often I buy them. :/

As for towels, spend more, and keep your towels for ten years. I've been married 25 years and I'm on my second set of towels; they still look good, and have plenty of wear in them. Most of the cheap stuff doesn't last as much as the stuff you pay a bit more for. You simply end up replacing the cheap stuff more often.

As for myself, I hate Black Friday. There is rarely anything I want or need enough to go through that madness. I also try not to shop Walmart. I've never liked their business ethics, and I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

So, Friday I will be loading my car, and doing last minute things for the craft fair that I will be selling at on Saturday.

These aren't the cheap towels. I can get cheap towels every day of the week. These are the thick, expensive and VERY good towels. :woot

Have fun Friday!

What's the deal on the towels? I'm always needing them and washcloths too..
and how much are the sheets?

Not trying to sound like a kill joy, but people have lost the meaning in the holidays and get way too wrapped up in buying junk.
I'm with SillyChicken. Better to sit it out and enjoy life in peace as compared to the alternative.

The alternative ->

Not sue why you care what others choose to do?
