black meat breeds, silkies ect....

I have not heard good things about the no crow collars, I have 3 roos that have had the crow reduction surgery. I just have too many roos and the surgery is crow reduction not crow elimination. We tried the sock thing around the neck and velcro on top of the crow reduction surgery. It might be because our bedroom window is 10 feet away from their coop/pen and it's below zero and sound carries on the cold.

I suspect my first batch of ac are getting close to laying, with the days getting longer that will be great. Especially since I got 2 incubators for Christmas.
 
same too, though this breed is a bit hard tell for sure. So I might have to wait till maybe 2+ months?
