The seeds can be fed whole. I hope this mix is only meant to be an occasional treat, not a sole feed ration, as it sounds extremely high in fat.

Do you have the nutritional breakdown of what this diet provides in terms of fat, protein, etc.? Are you adding in vitamins? I don't know anything about homemade diets but this seems like a lot of fat and not much of other things which are essential for good health.

weather. I dont at the moment but I can feed it to them as a snack for winter if need be.
