While my BSLs are talkative, they lay almost every day, are great foragers, and very cold hardy(in MN it's a must)! Their chatter is a plus because it brightens the mood when I go into the coop

my bsl is extremely noisy!!!!! she also rips up my lawn. she is a GREAT foreager! she is a great layer. other than that....i would say i will never get another one she is just so loud i feel bad for my neighbors

I just got my 3 BSL chicks yesterday! I am new to owning chickens but I am already hooked. My son is a fan of Doctor Who so the girls are named Rose, Donna, and River Song. We love watching them run around flapping their wings.
