Black silkies

I'm 34 and this will be the first rugrat... I thought for sure last night I'd have to be hauled in. Turned out to be nothing more than a huge backache and heartburn.

PS...hope Hannah (silkieluver_07) gets on here to post some pics. She had a huge win at Delmarva this last weekend. Judges are finally starting to place the blacks more than just BV...

hope every thing goes well. Had and weird pregnancy dreams ? I dreamed I had a puppy instead of a people baby. I was so relieved I know what to do with a puppy. However in the end I hatched this

Thanks for the wingbanding pictorial I am ordering mine today.

Not a black, but my DD has some outstanding blues and had a blue hen placed Rv. Breed in the Jrs at last years APA Nationals. Against some really nice whites. I was shocked as I thought for sure Gr and Rv would both go to the whites. I'd have to check who the judge was, but I thought it was great to see another color get some notice.

I swear a black from Premier did really well there too.......RV FL is what I'm finding.

Congrats !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! silkieluver_07 Please show us some pics . ( hmmmmm ---- Amy bet you go Thursday evening , I'm usally pretty good with guessing ) Get out and walk even if its just around the barn , things will go smoother for you . My last child I used to go to walmart to walk ( I was living in a 15 by 20 camp in the middle of nowhere - lots of big critters my OH wouldn't let me walk around out side by myself except to go the outhouse of course

Maybe it is the places I show, or the quality of birds at those shows, but I have seen just about every colour of silkie place BB, and most of the varieties have made it onto Championship Row. I'm discounting lawn shows (where I HAVE seen every variety of silkie place)--talking shows that had 800+ birds.

Amy, get to walking! That will get you farther towards delivery than just about anything else. Speaking from experience, you really want to avoid being induced if at all possible. Pitocin makes stronger, but less effective contractions: more pain, less gain.

Maybe we should have a 50/50 baby pool? I say labor late Friday afternoon, with an *early* morning delivery.

Nice hatch muddy

ok Amy start walking

PS Sonoran has this one nailed -------------- don't let them induce if there isn't any real reason other then being late -- it is hard and fast labor . Your better off waiting it will happen
