Just got back from my weekly doctor appointment. Lol... I am officially past my due date! Good news is that my blood pressure was back to normal 122/78 compared to the 160+/100+ readings last week. Still dilated... They didn't seem concerned about the swollen feet at all. They drew blood and another urine sample. I guess I'll get a phone call this afternoon if anything comes up abnormal and they need to speed things up. They are going to let nature run its course til at least monday and re-evaluate. Sighhhhh...time to invest in castor oil. jk....

I think I'm a glutton for punishment too. The weather is been sort of strange with snowstorms off and on all week. Well for some reason my girls picked up laying this week and I couldn't resist putting 5 dozen eggs in the incubator last night. Lol....I won't be getting much sleep with a new baby anyways.

Watermelon is a natural dieuretic, so if you can find some at the store, have lots of watermelon with your meals and for snacks. Also, keep your legs up when sitting, and walk rather than stand still.

When you go to the store for watermelon...take a cart and walk up and down every single aisle--even twice or three times is good

Malls are also great for walking, especially if the weather is bad.

Still here.

Clinic called this afternoon and all tests yesterday came back normal. I go back in again on Monday. Went out and cleaned horse poop and threw around hay bales. Still nothing... I can't get that Jeopardy theme song out of my head.

Good news is that I have a tiny batch of chicks just pipping right now and I'm constantly getting up to check the incubator. 3 blacks and 1 white out so far.

woohoo chicksssssss -- I tried takeing some pics with my Blackberry but I am not very good at this electronical stuff . I was able to take the pics just cann't get them off this phone and onto the computer . Oh well I'm off to bed . Amy sorry it has happened for you yet . Love to see some pics of newly hatched silkies though . (expecially black silkies ) My bators are full I have various ages now but , I always love the new chickies the most . Hopeing your hatches are great . Tammy

I have about 20 silkie chicks in the brooder and my mother is like, "You need to sell some of these." My reaction is... I cant let go of that maybe possible winner! Ughhh the hatching bug has bit me and now I dont want to let them go!
