Black spots in egg?

Woohoo!
When was the last time you checked it? (Prior to this)
Not at all during lockdown I checked day before lockdown it was moving but not like others and the air cell didn't dip down. It was moved so I couldn't see inside it during lockdown.
Crap I have opened that incubator so many times. Safety hole would prob be a good idea. The air cell is now dipped down. That's why I thought it was gone.

Safe hole won’t hurt either way, so if you feel better to do it, then go ahead. Since it hadn’t externally pipped on its own, you did not do any damage by opening the incubator, so don’t worry about that.

Oh good to know I thought once internally pipped you wanted to not open it. I'll watch it for the evening.

External pips are more susceptible to drying out, but I open mine all the time to assist call ducklings. Being quick and careful so humidity doesn’t fall drastically, and it’s no big deal.

Yeah that all Makes sense. I had to start pulling ducks out it was crazy In there. They all still hatched fine minus the two that pipped not in he air cell. This one was stuck for over 24 hours

Oh wow. I hate when that happens. Glad you got it out ok.
I was mistaken it was struggling for well over 36 hours. At least next time I know to go with my gut I knew it needed help it wasn't making it out. I should have helped last night.it was making very tiny progress which was why I was waiting Learning process

The longer you can wait, the better, as long as you feel it’s not in danger of suffocating or drowning. But yea, you gotta trust your gut most times and do what feels right.

I know I need a bigger coup right about now. If by going by the color of the bill is correct I have 11 hens and 4 drakes. Plus the one in the incubator. Plus the seven outside. I won't keep all the drakes though. Only one of the Welsh I'll Keep.
Yeah my gut was saying help it but I just watched it WVduckchick you said it could breathe so figured I'd wait.
