Fulgur sighed at the thought of more work but followed Scarlet's orders without question. He pushed off the ground, circled over camp for a while before landing on a large tree limb. He curled his stormy grey, feather tipped tail around the branch and lay down. He could survey everything in and around camp from up this high.
 
Galaxy layed quietly in the corner with midnight, her new mud brother. She couldn't help but feel sorry for herself when watching scarlet and her hatchlings, she never got a chance at having a mother...



Spyder was walking around looking for Queen Scarlet, he heard the news about shimmer and had became increasingly worried, though he tried not to show it.

Scarlet stood on the highest branch of a sky-scraping tree. She gazed down at the forest below, her wings spread, searching for any possible threats to her wing. Her crimson whole majestic form was outlined orange in the last few beams of the sunset. Finally, once she was convinced that no danger lurked in the vast expanse of greenery she dove off her branch towards the hard packed soil of their camp.

Spyders eyes ( all eight of them) were drawn to the form of queen Scarlet landing in the middle of camp, he twisted his wings together and flew over to her, landing gracefully. " Any news of shimmer, my queen?!" He spoke with a soft, yet deep voice that resonated from within him.

"No." Scarlet sighed. "Hopefully she'll somehow escape, but I don't think it is safe to interfere..." She wasn't sure what to do besides keeping someone on watch all the time to prevent any others being taken.

Spyders head slightly lowered, he was calm on the surface, not so much inside. "Yes, my queen. I understand"



( I'll be on and off if at all)
 
A while later, Shimmer awoke, found herself back in her cage, with an almost completely healed cut on her stomach. A human was standing outside of her cage, quierly speaking its language to Shimmer through the darkness. "Looks like those stem cells are working on healing you up nice and quick after your surgery," the human said. "A mother should never be separated from her young. Let's get you out of here before any eggs come along and the boss has them taken away from you," he said. Shimmer eyed the human suspiciously, with no idea what the human was saying. She did notice, however, that this human didnt seem to want to hurt her in any way. As a matter of fact, the human made it's way over to the cage door and opened it! "Go on, shoo," he said, attempting to scare Shimmer out of the cage. Shimmer impulsively bolted out of the cage and ran into the forest, not looking back. The human silently tiptoed away, mumbling, "I am soooo gonna lose my job," to himself. Shimmer weaved her way through the trees and thick undergrowth, wondering what the heck just happened and making her way toward the clearing and the rest of the Blazing Wing.

Spyder paced around the camp ground, he eventually sat down on a boulder near the treeline, his eight eyes trained on the woods, every sound, scent and sight was taken in by spyders still form.
 
Shimmer burst through the edge of the forest, blindly running for her life and completely unaware that she escaped the humans. In a frenzy of panic she shot straight across the clearing smacked into a tree. "Ouch!" She said and fell on the ground.
