Spyder looked at shimmer and replied in a soft, sweet voice," yes.. Beautiful" his eyes never left her, and he certainly wasn't talking about the sunset.
 
(Shimmer and Spyder have some awesome chemistry XD)

Shimmer looked back at Spyder, her eyes sparkling at the sight of him. She didn't catch his hint, but as she gazed into his eyes, she felt a warm, fuzzy feeling gathering inside her heart that she had never felt before. She smirked and flapped a little bit closer to him.

Spyder spread his second pair of wings to get an even hover, while slowly drifting closer to shimmer, " I like you shimmer....I need you to know that" he said with a smile. His eyes were deep and dark, yet somehow looked peaceful and kind.

Shimmer kept looking at him with her nervous-yet-happy grin. "I.....I like you too, Spyder. I.....maybe.....we could even...get to know each other sometime. But first--" she glanced down at the cave where all the other dragons were sleeping, "..We might need to let Scarlet and Axel and the others know that I'm back....I dont mean to ruin the moment or anything--"

Spyder smiled happily," you didn't ruin anything, and i... I'd love that" he said kindly and quietly before pressing his wings together once more and hovering

Scarlet nodded and snuck into a shadowed corner of camp where she could get some rest and keep an eye out for emergencies.

A while later, Shimmer awoke, found herself back in her cage, with an almost completely healed cut on her stomach. A human was standing outside of her cage, quierly speaking its language to Shimmer through the darkness. "Looks like those stem cells are working on healing you up nice and quick after your surgery," the human said. "A mother should never be separated from her young. Let's get you out of here before any eggs come along and the boss has them taken away from you," he said. Shimmer eyed the human suspiciously, with no idea what the human was saying. She did notice, however, that this human didnt seem to want to hurt her in any way. As a matter of fact, the human made it's way over to the cage door and opened it! "Go on, shoo," he said, attempting to scare Shimmer out of the cage. Shimmer impulsively bolted out of the cage and ran into the forest, not looking back. The human silently tiptoed away, mumbling, "I am soooo gonna lose my job," to himself. Shimmer weaved her way through the trees and thick undergrowth, wondering what the heck just happened and making her way toward the clearing and the rest of the Blazing Wing.

Scarlet padded into the open moonlight so she could be easily seen. "I think there's someone we need to welcome back!" She called up at the hovering dragons, unable to control her grin.

Scarlet padded into the open moonlight so she could be easily seen. "I think there's someone we need to welcome back!" She called up at the hovering dragons, unable to control her grin.

Spyder Laughed in pure glee, he folded his wings and motioned for shimmer to follow as he plunged downward.


Galaxy awoke to scarlet's call and inched her way out of the dome cave, she ran behind a tree as not to be seen by scarlet.

"Oh, hi Scarlet!" Shimmer called. She flew to the ground, right behind Spyder. After showing respect to Scarlet, she proceeded to tell Scarlet all about her encounters with the humans, everything from being captured to Spark to the human that released her.
