I hate it when weather keeps you up at night. Always seems worse listening to it at night like it is much worse than it actually is.
My son only has tomorow left at school before he has a two week break for Easter and he's no need thinking he's sitting on that PS4 for two solid weeks!! It's a terrible Internet eater just seems to zap all the internet and make everything else slow. I've told him he's got a list of jobs to do.

Any way granny that's it for me tonight I feel worn out today!!

Hi granny! Are you up late?
Candled the eggs last night and I have 1 polish quitter about day 11-12 it looks quite well formed. The 2 eggs I put in from the Amber link Ginny are still ok. Could see movement in them

Can't wait to see what they like if they do hatch. Crappy pants weather again here!!

Hi granny!! Feels like I have not spoken to you in ages even though it's only been 3 days!! How are things good I hope? Are you fully recharged now and have had a good sleep?
All go here at the minute lockdown for the eggs tomorrow for me Then just the waiting game

Have been having a move round again with some birds. Have had to move the two gold lace out of snowy the frizzle Roos pen as they have feather pecked him! He is looking a right state. They were hounding him constantly. Put anti peck stuff on him and got them a dangling treat thing but they just would not leave him be. They have gone to chicken jail for a few days. Hoping everyone will be happy again when they return. Very windy today here everyine being a bit scatty!!

hi Yorkshire, it has been a while. been feeling a bit pants for a couple days. I have been moving a couple chickens too for the same reason. well, except its the roo doing all the damage. I candled the 5 serama eggs i have. one died . guessing they are day 16 and one maybe 18 . longer then they have lasted before. not holding my breath. lol lock down already? wow. this will be your 3rd or 4th hatch since i started trying. hahahaa those older polish mixes i hatched look to be all hens. 3 of them i have. I put one down from frostbite . let me know how it goes.

I certainly will granny. The gold lace are not happy being seperate but it's tough!! I'm sure he must be happier not having his feathers picked out too, but then again he has been stupid enough to stand there and let them do it. I can spy on them now through the kitchen window.
Good luck with your eggs I didn't realise you still had some cooking I thought your last batch was the one which produced the polish x your GS was taming.
Yes I'm on my third hatch of 2015. Can't wait for lockdown in a few hours when it's dark. I really hope the Amber x eggs make it.
Great going on your older ones being hens that's a real plus. Sorry about the frostbite one. Ginny got a slight touch of frostbite one night but luckily it was minor.

i am normally the first one up to no good on april fools day but not this yr. just not in the mood i guess. pretty sure my eggs went in on the 15th. making today day 17 right? I didnt mention them because i didnt expect them to make it this far. beautiful day outside. I should be out there working. I seen a pic. of a baby silver? polish. forgot the right word. I fell fast ! I want one.

Yes you will be on day 17 if you set on the 15th. I'm on day 18 and set them on the 14th. Still waiting for it to get a little darker, the clocks have gone forward an hour here now for British summer time so it's staying lighter now on an evening. Just wish it would warm up a little more!!

They are nice the silver lace polish, that runty one I had was a silver lace just like snowy, in fact the bloke that took that one is coming back on Friday for the last of the 7 week olds. Will be able to give the shed a good clean out then ready for these that should hatch at the weekend.

thats great news ! maybe we will hatch at the same time after all I have heard seramas hatch early. spring is here for sure. little buds starting on the trees. my favorite time of the year , when all my 600 trees are blooming. I just did an april fools on my post granny gone and done it. I dont think it was very good though.
