friend went to the store for me and picked up some chick starter with vitamins (medicated) and a jar of rooster booster it has vitamins, electrolytes, and probiotics in it. it is a powder that goes in the water so hope that is enough . you only use 1/3rd teaspoon per gal. of water so it got a little pinch in a quart then i put some of that in the lid its drinking from. the food went on a paper towel . no interest in it i can see.

The rooster booster should work as well. Just keep dipping its little beak every so often. It should "lick" the moisture off its beak if nothing else, and will get the vitamins in it that way.

I just am not having luck with this little guy. no matter what i buy that will be good for him it dont matter if i cant get it down. he needs a buddy. I bought the yogurt today and sprinkled some booster, sugar and food in it. it was sink or swim so he swallowed 3 times with it. I still dont see any poop or him even trying to peck at anything but, his mouth is as loud as before. he is too little for me to try and tube feed. not sure if there is any thing left to do.

I'm sorry to hear he isn't improving so far. Maybe the swallows of yogurt he got will help him.

i think he needs a friend. really dumb on my part to incubate one chick. its gonna happen again in about a week. I set 2 and one has died. next after that is 4 eggs.

I know you tried your absolute best with him and gave him the best chance of survival. These chicks are sent to try us are they not
