Its taking too long ! its rocking and banging away but not getting anywhere. can you tell difference between gold laced and candycorn?

I swear if that phoenix got her too he is going in the pot. that I will be able to tell because they all have the chipmunk stripes. these babies that are a week old, they are flying to the top of the cage and that is 30 in. is that normal? the top is stopping them or i am sure they could go higher ... did you decide to set eggs yorkshire ?

It will be fine it may take 24 hours from external pip to actually hatching. When you say candy corn colour do you mean like one of these light coloured ones in the pic?

At a week old they can fly preety good so yes it's normal I have them in a guinea pig cage for brooding for the first two weeks when I lift the lid I have to watch out cos they fly good!!!

The brown chicks in this pic are all gold lace.

No havnt set eggs yet going to give them a little more time to get the laying in order the eggs are getting bigger now they have been laying longer. Plus I've got some more who have just started laying. Have six laying at the moment. Some not everyday though. Yesterday I collected 4 eggs but today only two so far.

Oh did you mean the grey looking one at the front of the pic? That's a silver laced sold that too but should have ended up like this one

someone was selling them for tolbunt polish and i guess there not . I had a frizzled tolbunt rooster but after working with an illness after about 5 months i gave up and put him down. he was my favorite of all time too.

That's how I lost Poppet too, it was a very hard decision to make.
What do think I will get from a blue splash roo and gold lace hens? He is my new one that I've only had a few weeks but he's doing his job ok. I've no idea what the chicks will be like
Here he is have named him Bash. He looks a bit dirty in this pic it was a very suspect set up I bought him from. I'm sure they only cleaned them out because I was going to look at him.
