My cat is blowing her coat right now. Fur EVERYWHERE. I have to vacuum the living room rug everyday. I don't remember the hair like this before this year.

Plus, she went outside one night last week and got into a fight with some darn stray. Now she has 6 scratches that I am doctoring. Mostly I hold her and Mike puts on the ointment. Then we have to vacuum again because of all the hair floating around!

Hair!! I know just how you feel. My runty cat and one of the dogs constantly sheds hair everywhere. Miss a day with the vac and its building up in piles. No more house dogs for us when these two have popped their clogs.

On another note I have set the eggs e 27 set. 4 of them Ginny eggs she was obliging this morning and laid early. I found one in nest box yesterday too so 4 not too bad. I have not used the foam inserts this time in the dividers so have managed to fit more in. Don't think I will be able to hatch in cartons if most of them make it to lockdown. Just won't be enough room.

thats a lot of eggs. yeehaw ! i just now ran up one some silver laced polish babies in my town for 6 dollars. they are hatchery but he had to order more then he wanted. I told him come payday i would buy 2 of them. they will be 2 weeks by then. think i will be able to tell hen from roo. ? they got the mereks thing too. the cat is doing pretty good. shy and fast . she shows a lot of interest in my chicks

not me. thats how we are getting along i guess. She has hair, not bald. just not thick. like the hypo dogs i guess. Enola, how is yr cat doing ? better i hope.

Yes I have crammed then in this time. I think if I didn't have the bigger Ginny eggs in I could get about 30 polish in there.

2 new polish for you then granny. I hope they will be ok with the mareks disease. I love the silver lace birds. Maybe a bit more than 2 weeks fir guessing in the polish they are pesky after all!! Glad Olga doing ok I'm sure she will settle I bet it's been a big change for her!! Is your son getting on ok with her?

i dont understand about the mereks? they are getting or got the vac. is that a bad thing ? son is doing great with Olga, she was under my bed last night and i started to shoo her and he said dont do that, I will get her. he is protective .

I see what you mean now granny! They have had the mareks vaccine? Many hatcheries do vaccinate against it but I don't think this a 100% thing that stops birds getting it. Cat shooing made me laugh because I thought of Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang theory when he wanted Amy and Bernadette to do some bird shooing for him!!

Hi granny How's you? Feeling any better I hope so? We have had rain today About time too was very dry but really need it for the grass on the horses fields. Not really had enough though could do with more to get it growing better. Olga ok? I'm sure your son is loving having her.

Only on day 3 with the eggs but seems like forever already and going very slow. Can't wait for the first candling on Saturday

yorkshire, still feel like crap . I have thrown my meds . in the garbage. should feel better soon. Olga is doing good but she is invisible around me. the chicks are getting big fast for a change . same food ? same everything. well, except the chick itself. LOL still supposed to pick up 2 silver polish saturday. hope i see hen.

How are you and yours ? did u get the last ones sold ?

thought you might be back up now. I cant figure these hrs. LOL its going on 1am here. still cant sleep. thinking about those silver polish and how i might tell hen from roo. and probably cant/wont. Are the roosters docile ? the buff i had was mean but he wasnt with other big roos. My swedish flower rooster lost his toes at the first joint and is very laid back plus i have a ton of hens so maybe they will get along ? he tried to mate today and fell out of the saddle. hahaa
