Looks like a bird pooped one spot of blood?? Perfect splatter. What’s your thoughts???? Happened sometime this evening. Still a little wet went I went out to make sure all went in before my door shut. First time I’ve ever seen weird like this. Except the brown foamy poop I see every now and then which I now consider normal.

Looks like someone got pecked on the comb or pulled a blood feather on a foot or elsewhere. I have see those on the roosts, but usually never found the victim. Feeders or waterers might also have blood splatters if you look, from a comb bleeding.

Doesn't look like it has come from the vent. Probably a cut or a pecking injury. I would give them a once-over out of curiosity, check the bottoms of their feet.

I looked at their roost with a light and feet the best I could. I’ll be home after a bit from work so I’ll be able to search everyone in the light

If it came from a comb or wattle, you may find no injury, or it may just look like a tiny black speck.

For the life of me, I could not figure it out. Everybody seems healthy as ever still, so not to worry. Probably just a comb wound.

Usually I have never found the bleeder. Everyone is tight lipped or beaked.
