Our third Silkie to hatch was caught in her umbilical. I was able to use a coat hanger to disentangle her foot and head without opening the incubator, and she finally jumped out of the shell. She's got a nice bloody stump of a naval hanging from her (of course, trailing slime and blood all over the incubator and unhatched eggs).

Should I take her out to the brooder or leave her where she is? She got out of the shell an hour or so ago. She was caught in there after mostly zipping for a couple hours. There are two other Silkies hatched and running about, one zipper, and one pipper so far.
