Thank you! I have the liquid kind do you know what the dosage is on that? It’s 1.5 tsp per gallon for 5 days then 1/3 tsp for 7-14 more days. Make sure not to use a metal waterer, it reacts with the corid.
Best of luck!![]()

I have to take her off the nest and I tryed to put her in a smaller pen in the coop but separated by wire with only good and water. I put her in it again and hopefully she gets better.
I also have Corid which I know helps cure a disease where the chicken has bloody poop.
Can someone please help?

Ok thank you so much! I put her in a separate area this morning and she’s acting a lot better than the last time not acting lethargic. I have tried putting her on the roosts at night but she just goes and lays down again. I will check her I have noticed she used to be almost black and now she’s a brownish grey and her comb used to stand tall and now it folds over almost all the way. I will make sure her crop is emptying overnight.Thank you for being patient
Is she coming off the nest or staying put? I would keep moving her from the nest as much as I could and placing her on the roosting bars at night - doesn't sound like separating her is very successful, so change tactics on breaking her.
While you are handling her, check her over well for lice/mites, make sure her crop is emptying overnight too.
Liquid Corid dose is 2 tsp per gallon of water given as the only source of drinking water for 5-7 days.
Her crop is emptying overnight but one of my EEs is not and she won’t eat her favorite treat this morning and hasn’t been acting like herself. She’s still drinking though. What should I do?Thank you for being patient
