One of my 3-year-old bantam Brahma hens left this bloody stool in the nesting box today. I'm not sure which one, as I observed the hens, and all appear to be acting normally (except the one broody hen I have). I checked the poop chart, and it looks more like one of the last 3 normal poops, but wanted to get another opinion. Any thoughts?

There was another bloody poop this afternoon, so I'm thinking this is coccidiosis. I think I'm going to try to get some corid tomorrow and start them on that.

Yes, that picture definitely looks like blood. I would treat them for 5 days. Do you know the dose for water? The powder is mixed 1/2 teaspoonful per gallon of water, the liquid is 2 teaspoonsful/gallon. Change the water daily (so you can mix smaller amounts than a gallon) and treat for 5 days.

After 3 days on Corid, no more bloody poops. I'll keep using it for 2 more days. Anyone know how long I should be tossing out their eggs?

No egg withdrawal from Corid--it is a thiamine blocker, not a toxic chemical, so it won't affect the eggs. There are people who have their chickens on medicated chick starter, and it is also safe to eat the eggs as it is the same weaker ingredient (amprollium.)
