Blooie's Blankie Fort

I got a ridiculous amount of enjoyment out of hatching eggs. There's something so satisfying about being involved in the whole process, and I can tell you the chicks we hatched are imprinted on my daughter and I more so than the first batch of chicks we brought home at barely a day old. Our incubator chicks beg to be picked up, trying to climb the walls of the brooder to us. For a 5 yr old girl, this is chicken keeping!
I have ordered a fan for my bator and some fancy new thermometer/hygrometers for next time!

Don't forget to share!!! You started a thread, didn't you? Or am I all mixed up from inhaling Oreos, and crayons?
Its crayon sniffing Blooie - you'll be addicted if you are not careful!

What incubators are you using? I'm considering entering into the world of incubators, and i I know that there are many threads on them, but just wondered.

I got a brand new Brinsea Octagon 20 and figured that would have plenty of room. I was going to be a once in a while hatcher of a few eggs sometimes. Until the egg avalanche. So we went to Cody where pickin's were pretty slim and Ken picked out a Farm Innovators 4200. See the reviews are definitely mixed on that one. Well, in for a penny, in for a pound!
