I agree that #1 looks like a roo, on the others I've been fooled too many times to hazzard a guess. I start when they are one day old using the wing feather sexing trick, then when they start to get tails, the ones with the longer tails are pullets, then the combs come next, and I'm still wrong alot.ok got some pics for y'all to look at and help me with. If the 3 wide comb is a true indication, I have a few boys around, LOL

ok so there we are, some of you more knowledgeable ones, see if you agree with me. I think 1, 2, and 5 are roosters. The last two, don't have quite enough bumps yet to tell, but it looks like both of them are pullets. What say ye? and thanks!
where in TN? not so sure about shipping, but depending on where you are, maybe a meet up somewhere? we could pull our camper somewhere and make a weekend out of it. After I'm sure I have more than 2 that is, I want one to keep and I've promised one to the grand daughterThe only one that I would be sure of is #1, I've been fooled too many times to guess on the others.
BTW I'm looking for a Dark Blue roo, the one I have is too light for my taste. Are you willing to ship a couple up to TN?

welcome aboard!I'm totally subscribing to this thread! I've ordered 10 blue, 5 black and 5 lavender from Max Strawn and I'm so excited for them to get here, I'm really interested in breeding blues and blacks, the lavenders are just cause they're pretty ^.^ I'm hoping to have majority hens ( fingers crossed) and a few rues, my luck I'll end up with all rues... Lol
