Blue Ameraucana thread!

New to blue Ameraucanas here.

I have 2 blues, 2 blacks and a splash, all about a month old. Now I'm just waiting to find out sexes.

Me too! Mine are almost 3 months old and I'm just now forming opinions. They are hard to sex! I have 9. Five black and four blue! Good luck!

We're from a little town in SEMO called Charleston, Mo near Cape Girardeau and go there about once a month- it's only 3 1/2 hours away from Nashville. I've never been to Jacobs Cave, looks like it's 7 hours from here.

I know I read somewhere on here about white showing up in the hackles of a blue. I have looked and looked. Would someone tell me what it is again? Thanks

Pretty happy about my BBS Ameraucana trio right now. (Pictured with their Jubilee Orp momma who is currently molting.). They are all very pretty and each fault in one is evened out by the other. They are also quite fatter than my last crew, which I like. Not sure if it's SOP but the feathering and size is more impressive than my last round of BBS. I'm very pleased!

Just wanted to show a quick pic of my new group.
I have a blue AM rooster (mid crow in the picture) and his 4 black hens.

I also have their 13 blue and black offspring, 6 blue, 7 black.
And I have 5 older chicks from a pair of related blues, a splash, 2 blue and 2 blacks.

Coop is under construction, new perches and a poop board going in this week.
