Thanks! The hen in the first pic is really crazy, lol. She runs around the pen like no other chicken we've had. If you've seen Finding Nemo, she's like the yellow fish obsessed with "bubbles!" except she "needs to get out!" Lol.

Now the hen in the bottom pic is super sweet. She's still getting use to us but we've been able to pet her with no problem.

Nothing that brown. I call them light tan and green. there's a pic on pg 1....

Hello I am sorry you are not happy. They are gorgeous babies. I just hatched out some myself. A few were green most were the blue green that all Ameraucanas lay none were tan. I only purchase my birds from breeders never from hatcheries. Not sure if you know this but Ameraucanas were bred from Easter Eggers which were originally derived from the native south american Araucana.

In light of her reply, she ADMITS she sent me some green eggs (I ordered blue). I disagree that none were tan. Not sure about the ameraucanas coming from EE? Sounds like BS to me, after all your comments here? And I trust you all.

I'm sure they are pretty babies, but the EGGS are not what I ordered, not what was described in the ad.

She's offering to refund $12 (shipping).​

Perhaps link her to the Americauna breed standard which emphatically state that they only lay blue eggs?

Not that it will matter as the worst you can really do is just give her bad feedback and not ever buy from her again. Kinda sounds like he doesnt even know what the standard is...or she's a fraud.

sounds as if she thinks she knows what she is talking about....what do you plan on doing?
You will get some gorgeous birds...but NOT what you ordered...

There's nothing at all wrong with EE's. I have both EE's and pure Ameraucanas and love them both. But it is not what you ordered, that's the main thing.

It sounds to me that this "breeder" doesn't know the difference herself.
