Blue Andalusian thread!

This building is 12X24 and has 6 4x8 runs inside with 4X12 runs for each. It is now covered as of last summer. I have a number of photos of my buildings on my website.

BA males are no louder than any other large fowl male.

Here is a picture of the chicks that my daughter got yesterday for 4-H. They are a couple weeks old and there are 6 of them.

So far it looks like she has 2 Splash Andalusian, 1 Black Andalusian and 2 maybe 3 Blue Andalusian, too young yet to tell for sure who are boys and who are girls but 2 of the Blue might be boys...their tail feathers are further along than the others and they walk around stretching their necks up like our bantam rooster does before crowing. It will be interesting to see if we are correct or not!

mopargal1972 how old is your chick?-we are guessing that our DD's are a couple weeks old by the amount of feathering they have.
