Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. I now have a new camera and can upload the pictures of the decorated eggs and stone magnets that I was working on as gifts. They were a big hit, thank you all for the ideas and inspiration

I have found the painted ones are pretty strong. I did break one of the ones that I did not paint.

Great eggs! I plan on still making these, just maybe not as ornaments. Or perhaps I will, just keep them for selling/gifts next year

My sister went to Tanglewood to see the Christmas lights. They stopped in one of their little shops, and they were selling eggs like ours! Some of them had little heart buttons on the bottom to stick out like feet, and the eggs were either Santas or Snowmen. Some of them were selling for as much as $12 a piece!

I was thinking, since I now have close to seven doz. eggs in my fridge

, that my next project with the eggs will be spring/Easter theme. I like the idea of the heart buttons for feet. Its hard for me to "think outside the box" sometimes, but really, the possibilities with these are endless.

Now I'm off to find a pound cake recipe, make scrambles eggs and maybe bake a pan of brownies too. That ought to use up some of those eggs

Bake the pound cake in the recipe section. It uses 10 eggs but I often will use 12.
