Blue/Brown Eggs, Easter/Christmas Eggs - Getting my craft on!!

Yikes! Don't sell yourself short, and don't worry, not everyone is going to appreciate your handiwork. (Even Van Gogh was criticized that his art was child like and primative!) Everyone is a critic. Enjoy the process and do what you love...you'll find a niche of buyers I am sure.

Also, $2...for all the work and effort into you put into each egg...it seems rather cheap. I am going to buy a small tree to put my decorated eggs into. I will take a bunch of pictures of the tree all set up, for when I sell these next year...so people can have a visual. For now, I must practice!!!

Also, Hobby Lobby and Michael's have a great return policy. Don't be afraid to take them back if the rubons aren't used.

I couldnt sell the darn things for 1 lousy dollar
As for the rub ons, I ordered them online 10 days ago and only got them yesterday. I also bought a small tree at the jockey lot last week to put them on, oh well, it will go by the fire place layden with my pride and joy eggs

I got mine going for $6 each or 2 for $10 at this point and I live in a very small town (and I love it that way

Hi! They are sUper eAsy. Pick out the feather that's going on the egg, brush a thin layer of mod podge on the egg where you want to put it. Lay on the feather. Brush a layer over the feather (and while it's wet, you can use a stiff bristle paintbrush straighten the 'webbing'). If the feather shaft doesn't want to lay flat, wait til the mp dries and cut off the 'sticking-up-part' with small scissors (or I used cuticle-clippers) and give it another layer of mp. Or use a tiny dab of superglue to hold the shaft down and then sand the shaft down flat.
I need to find some 'colored' feathers. I mostly have black/white, blues here. I'm kind of annoyed, I threw away a box of pheasant feathers --- they would have been glorious.
