No I bought them from a guy that breeds black, blue & splash Marans and he says they're from bev Davis and wade jean line. They have extra feathers by the ear tufts and might be mixed with Americana or something like that. Did you hatch these from your own birds. DON
Hey everyone, just stopping in to say hey! Hope to have more time to come by. I have a baker's dozen chicks hatched out by broodies, that's as far as I've gotten with hatching this year. 7 splash copper and 4 blue copper from Big Boy's pen along with two surprise birchens as well. I'll see if I can get some photos of the B/B/S Coppers
haha too funny. I didn't know Don had been gone! Good timing hahaWow... first Don and now you popping in! Who is next @pinkchick ??? LOL.

Well.... not as much as some new people. But I do keep up and help where I can. LOL. Since you have not been around, remember I told you I hatched some chicks for a lady that wanted them for eggs? She grew up ALL the roos too..... I got 4 of the best ones back so I have a new crop of roos! From MY BIRDS! This guy is my fav. His tail was picked but is growing back nicely. He looks so much like Pinks roos I had. I love his color too, for a blue. He is a little narrow at the back end but you can't have everything. He does have feathered legs. I got him and 3 other Blacks. I am on my feet again!

With him as my main breeder for now (till I move the Black Copper over later in the fall) my chicks are going to be mostly blue and splash... he is covering 5-6 blues and 2 blacks.
