My new Araucanas (from Jason Fishbein) seem to lay a lighter blue egg than my other Araucanas (from Nancy Utterback). But Nancy showed and said she never worked towards egg color as it wasn't a priority. They seem to be either an ix or vii on the card.

I can’t wait to get Looloo and Annabelle outside! Ms. Charles said they should start laying in April or May.

From what I've seen on her website, Ann has great egg color in her stock!

Looking to add some different blue layers to my group. I have legbars, Aracaunas and some AracaunaXLegbars. Been looking at Whiting True Blues. Does anyone on here actually have them? Can you put up some actual pictures of what you get for eggs? The sites that sell them all seem to have generic pictures of blue eggs (same pictures used for multiple blue layers). Just looking for the bluest of the blue. Not green or washed out blue. Wheatens were also mentioned or lavender Ameracaunas.

I understand how to run a search. Need photos of eggs specifically from this breed. Threads about chicks are no help. Two posts had an egg picture that I have seen already. Need to see pictures of eggs only if anyone has them thanks. Interested in what any owners of these actually get for color. Not what the advertisers put up.
