Your Dandelion is so pretty!Male and female buffs are supposed to have deep brown eyes, other colors aren’t breed standard or show quality. Buffs can have blue eyes but it’s uncommon if they came from a hatchery.
There’s also the possibility they could be crosses, I’m not sure where you got them from but you could have buff colored geese that are not American Buffs, like my Dandelion who’s Buff x French Toulouse. She hatched with blue eyes but they turned brown this summer when she turned 3.

My male American Buff has blue eyes, my females have brown eyes. I'm not sure if that's always the case or not, but mine are.Is there such a thing as blue-eyed American Buff geese? I read recently that Buffs are suppose to have brown eyes. My two Buffs have blue eyes. Are they a mix of Buff and something else?
one is a male for sure, the other I’m leaning towards male but I’m not sure. They’re both beauties Though!Your Dandelion is so pretty!
I got them as goslings from a local backyard breeder, not a hatchery. They are only about 8 months old. It’s okay with me if they are crosses. I was just curious. Do they both look like males to you? They both get their (longish) necks to the ground to hiss at my dog, ducks, chickens, kids, visitors, etc.
