Blue eyed Buff Orpington

How common is it to have blue eyes in a mature hen? This Buff is almost 2 years old and unlike all the other chickens we have, her irrus is blue (ish). it's blue on the outside and turns more green as you get closer to the pupil. Just wondered if anyone else has a blue eyed chicken.

Have her eyes always been blue? If yes no problem, if not it looks a lot like the marecks (merecks) disease eye photo on wikipedia. I hope not, but its just something to look into.

I went to that site and it sure looks like her eyes. She has had that color as long as I can remember-- since I first saw that she looked different. She has no symptoms, is alert, lays 3 to 4 eggs a week and shows no signs of sickness
