Blue eyed chickens?

I have a bunch of BR's and you are right, they are sooo friendly!!!! My silkie and my Ameraucanas are uber friendly too, and my BO's. The rest not so much. I do love to chase down the white leghorns and hold them tight though. They are too small to escape.

Now I have to go check my BR's. That pic looks like a young pullet though. They may grow out of it.

I think she will grow out of it, they go through that odd eye color stage. I love the pearl colored eyes that can be found in breeds like cornish, asil, and some other oriental breeds.

Yes, she's pretty young, about 6 weeks old. I'll be sad if her eyes change color, but it probably is just an odd phase she's going through, as I just today noticed the blue eyes.

I have 7 just over 3 week old Barred Rocks and their eyes are very dark. Blue would be cool as long as its not a problem.

My light brahma hen that is closest to the standard in every other way has the most beautiful emerald green eyes. I think it makes her unique.
