Blue Jays and Crows

I just love having Blue Jays and crows around! If I hear the Blue Jay's raising cain, You can bet there's a hawk around, so they give them away and the hawk usually flies off!

The crows do the same and even chase the hawk away! I have started leaving an egg or two for the crows-hope they stay around!

While crows will warn you about hawks, they will also carry off small chicks. I lost a little RIR pullet to a crow this year, and wouldn't have believed it if I had not saw it.
