That's really pretty!!
So you were kidding right?
My duck has blue/brown feathers with thin dark lines around the edges and down the middle.
Nothing so dramatic but I wonder if that's lacing?

LOL no I wasnt kidding, I tried getting pics and the camera freaked on me. They have blue in the middle and light reddish brown on the edges. they are 1 month old rouen/saxony.

my buffs have some fate lacing and a friend of mine blue ducks have some lacing too really pretty cant wait to see

Those Blue Cayugas are gorgeous! I would love some of those. I was just thinking about this thread the other day because I saw a pic of a duck on the Ashton's website that looks a lot like the BLR color in chickens. Is this similar to what yours looks like sparkles?

I thought I was seeing some pretty lacing on this Khaki Campbell/fawn & white Indian runner mix. I'm hoping more like this one will hatch out.

I was thinking about this today. I was looking at week old muscovys. We had been thinking 2 were barred. At about 4 weeks it really seemed like barring, now when we hold them and really look close they are actually laced. I wonder if it is more common like this when ducks are juvenile but they grow out of it later on?
