Blue Laced Red Wyandotte THREAD!

We are hatching a lot of chicks at once and only one starter brooder! And now we have hatched chicks for my brother! Okay he wants his chicks so his daughter can raise them which is cool! But I have blue laced red wyodott chicks mixed in! Our first time with this breed we can tell the blue chicks apart but would anyone have pictures of chicks so we can compare? Thanks

My black chick appears to have slight penciling but only on the breast feathers. Is that normal?

Chicks feathers will change as they get older.

One of my Wyandotte chicks that hatched from a mixed color pen I have. There are 2 BLRW roosters, 1 splash and 1 blue, with splash and blue BLRW hens, and some SLW hens.

Definitely don't think this one came from one of the SLW hens, way to dark.

Chicks feathers will change as they get older.

I forgot to specify it is 10 or so weeks old. Will they still be likely to change at that age? I tried to get pictures but this is the best I could do.

Try this...and I am asking because it's legs darkened up.

Most of there are mixed chicks..I think you may have one possible slw..but it might be a cross too..really too early to tell at this age..they will be very cute!!

These are all photos of the same chick, just different angles.

I'm curious about the feather pattern, I've had some odd patterns on my BLRW chicks in the past (not related to this one) so I'm just waiting to see how it feathers out. Need to dig out my old photos but I'm pretty sure a few had this odd "barred" appearance and ended up with normal lacing.
