Just thought that I'd post an idea that has been sitting in the back of my mind. I haven't seen anyone post the color combination and was thinking that might be a starting point for my flock. I have some very nice Blue Orps and a few Wyandottes in the mix. If we were to cross the SLW and Blue Orp Hen or a Blue Roo and SLW hen then what would the offspring look like? From what I have seen the rose comb should be dominant and would show up on the offspring. Any idea if there is a craving for Blue Laced Silver birds versus the upcoming BLRW? Just trying to get a feeling before possibly undertaking a project and building out more runs/housing.
Thanks for any input.

What is the above a crossing of?
Is it a buff laced wyandotte X silver laced wyandotte = blue laced silver wyandotte...
Or a white wyandotte X silver laced wyandotte = blue laced silver wyandotte...
Is it called a violet (or blue) laced silver wyandotte or silver laced violet (or blue) wyandotte?
