We live in Oregon and purchased hatching eggs from back east that produced 5 very beautiful orpingtons. One is black, 3 are varying degrees of blue and one lavender. They are gorgeous but all five are hens. I would like to find a matching roo but not sure if I should go back to the same breeder we got the eggs from or find a new line. These hens are so beautiful I want to be careful who I breed them with. Any suggestions?
