3, 11-week-old girls from Welp that I'm uncertain of. Either the Blue Australorps I ordered or from the Assorted Brown Layer package. (It would help if I'd ever seen a confirmed splash bird in person).

Red, who was tentatively ID'd as a Lavender Orpington a little while back. She's got white feet and a lovely, pale color without any real lacing. But she does have a few tiny, dark tickmarks. No evidence of shredding.

Black/Red. White feet. Medium color with slight lacing and dark ticking. She'd be lighter if she were splash, right?

Black. Light, but not as light as Red. Lacing and black tickmarks.

I'm sorting them out so I know who to keep (and perhaps breed), and who to sell.

I would call both of these birds blue.
Blue can vary from so light that it looks almost lavender to so dark that it looks black. Splash can look lavender, too but I would expect more splash markings.😊
