Blue Star/Sapphire Gem with feathered legs?

That foot feathering is too sparse for a Cochin unless a very poor quality specimen of the breed. Marans or Marans-based olive-egger are much more likely possibilities. Knowing where they originated from would definitely help to narrow things down, though. 🙂
Where did you get the chicks?
I got these from Ideal Poultry. They do carry Blue Cochins, EE’s, OE’s and Blue Cuckoo Marans.

I did order one EE from them this time. Here she is. None of the EEs/OEs I’ve gotten from them in the past have had feathered legs. Would be interesting if the three “Blue Star’s” turned out to be OEs.

Hmm, yeah, they state that their OEs are either Barnevelder or Welsummer crossed to Easter-eggers, so no feathered legs there. I would guess they're Blue Cuckoo Marans, then, based on Ideal's catalog. Blue chick down tends to muddy the expression of the head spot that is typical of cuckoo / barred chicks. Did they say anything about substitutions in your order?

No they did not have any subs. Said they were oversold actually and had to remove one of another breed from my order. I did call them today and they are looking into it. Will report back with the results.

I'm glad that they're going to make that right.

Blue Cuckoo Marans should be easy to sell. (I'd dearly love to have some myself).
That’s a relief to hear. Since we have such limited space there’s no way I could keep both the Marans and Blue Stars. I wish.😅 I’ve never had a Maran so I will likely rehome four of the Marans and keep only one to see what that breed is like.

You should be able to get a quite good price for them on Craigslist as soon as they're off heat.

Check your local prices, but don't be afraid to ask for a price in keeping with their being a highly-desirable breed. A couple years ago I sold a Blue Cuckoo Marans cockerel for, IIRC, $15 at about 8-12 weeks.
