Blue Swedish ducklings? How to tame?

I think that my two ducklings that I got last year turned out to be Rouens. I picked two that were different than the others thinking that they were KC. Well, after looking at photos of rouen ducklings, I'm wondering if you can tell a difference in the ducklings when they are so little? The other ducklings that were in with my two guys had the stripes on their heads. Do the females have stripes and males don't?
