*Sigh* Kathy, you always manage to post pics of birds that make me drool.

That is a lovely bird!

In my consideration of HLF, my list of breeds I'd like to work with is getting smaller. One breed that's still on it is Jersey Giant, specifically the White variety. On this thread they don't seem to get any love, so to speak. The JGs generally get good marks for temperament and lots of people keep Black or B/B/S Giants. So, why no talk of Whites? Anyone?

Edited to add...

BR are on the list too...

Do you people realize how hard you make to focus on one or two particular breeds?

I've seen pics of the blue JGs and real live black ones but I don't think I even realized they came in white. Do you have any pics? Wonder if I could manage three breeds . . . hmmmm.

That's how I ended up with Silver Penciled Rocks and now I'm considering Barred Rocks too the worst part is selling off the other ones to have room......my husband isn't going to just keep making new pens besides I only have so much space......

Yep, I will be in the Modern Game Bantam rows most of the time for this show (It's the MGB National show). Probably wearing a bright green sweater (everybody seems to be able to find me when I wear it!).

Wish I had room for Langshans, and I would love to see your birds if you're up for a tour.

I'll only have 5 birds there, one of them being no competition and the other with a non-existent eye...but still good birds. The too young cockerel will have a good experience on this one.

Ryu, you'll have to show me your Moderns. I absolutely love the breed and will eventually want to get some lemon blues. I'm just afraid that they won't fare well in the colder weather without a heat source.

kathy, we should all meet up! I wish I had some BYC gear for this...but...nope. I'll probably be wearing AR gear of some sort.

I'll be there!! Can't wait. I'll have two young orp pullets there, as well as my bantam salmon and black faverolles and call ducks. So hope to meet some of y'all there!!

Bob, if you need to stay on Santas nice list find me a pair or trio of standard salmon faverolles. I don't have to have them right now. Springish would be fine!!
