Got a mesage asking the history of Rose Comb Rhode Island Reds. Here it is and also I agree about getting half Rose Combs and Half Buckeyes from Mr. Urch. Good idea.
You are welcome on the search of New Hampshires.
They are so rare about as rare as Rose Comb Large Fowl.
Who is getting New Hampshires or Rhode Island Reds this year.
Got to hook up some lights in the barn for the breeders. Super bowl sunday is the day I turn on the lights and give the egg laying pellets this spring for my breeders. Sping is around the corner for me.
For those who want to know what I have in the breeding pens this year they are: Rhode Island Reds, White Plymouth Rocks, Buff Brahmas, Dark Cornish, White Leghrons and Gray Call ducks.
Got up to 71 the other day and 65 degrees yesterday. bob
