Drove a total of 700 miles the past few days ..... BUT .... I got 'em!

I got three trios of Barred Rocks from Jeremy, that originate from Frank Reese. They are getting settled now. I will get pictures for tomorrow.

I am sooooo happy to have these!

Scott thanks for the great pictures of your Barred Rock Females

Orange x2 banded pullet looks like a younger pullet if the same hatch she is not as mature as red2. If younger will do just fine and catch up with the older females.

Redx2 banded pullet looks like a more mature female great type and color my favorite today. Love to see her when she is laying in the same pose.

.Yellow banded pullet leaning forward which is O K , but look at the lift in the back area super nice, great color and excellent feather Quality. Also look at here tight feathers-could be the best of the lot in next two to three months.

Wonderful strain of Heart age Barred Rocks they are still very young, but should be super nice when full grown. What is the origin of your strain?

Thanks for the kind words Bob. I hatched these from eggs I got from Tom Wheeler. I am pretty sure he has the T Stanley line of BRs and if I'm not mistaken, they have been crossed to a White Rock. I don't recall the line of White Rocks he has.

I can hardly wait for the day when I can actually look at them and choose which is better than the others. I have alot to learn!
